Zoo Med ReptiTherm® Under Tank Heat Mat are an excellent, inexpensive, low wattage heater to be used on a glass terrarium, vivarium or paludarium.
They can be used as a 24-hour primary or a secondary heat source for tropical and temperate reptiles, amphibians, or any other pets living in a glass terrarium, that require a heat source.

* Please refer to your pet’s specific care, as many of these animals will require temperature gradients from multiple heat sources.
Always use a Thermostat Controller and an accurate Thermometer to maintain safe temperature levels for your pet specific needs. An unregulated heat source can cause serious injuries or worse to your pets.
Remember, that reptiles and other cold blooded animals do not feel heat like we do, and do not know or understand if they are in danger from too much heat. These heat pads can be used under your terrarium or on the side.
For use on glass terrariums only. Do not use on wood, plastic, acrylic or any other type of enclosure not made of glass. With the exception of the RH-7 Mini Heat pad, which can be used on some plastic terrariums.
