Lafi Pods

Lafi Pods are used in a terrarium to mimic the rainforest ground coverings (Leaf Litter). They help create stunning visual terrains in a vivarium or even an aquarium. Small invertebrates will hide inside and under them.

They are a thick woody seed pod that’s dimpled on the outside and smooth on the inside. These pods hold their curved shape when used in a humid terrarium or submerged in an aquarium. Shrimp love these as they create a tasty biofilm.

Lafi Pods are actually the segments of the seed capsules from Dysoxylum binectariferum

Due to the nature of this product, there will be some variation in shape, size and colour.
