The leaves look and feel lifelike, and are water resistant, so they will not rot in a humid environment. By adding this artificial plant to your pet’s enclosure you are providing them with additional privacy and shelter, helping them feel more secure in their environment. However, unlike real bromeliads, these plants won’t hold water in their axils (cups). We won’t hold that against them, as we still like them for their vibrant coloration and incredible realism.
