Zoo Med’s Nano Basking Spot Lamp is ideal for use with diurnal reptiles that need to thermo-regulate by basking, including many tropical and desert species. The Nano Basking Spot Lamp is designed to work in the Nano Dome and Nano Combo Dome.

Placement of Nano Basking Spot Lamp

Securely suspend the Nano Dome  with the Nano Basking Spot Lamp installed above your terrarium’s screen cover.

The operating range is the distance from the lamp to your reptiles basking spot. In order for your reptile to fully benefit from the UVB, you must also provide your reptile with the appropriate temperature zone. Be sure to provide an appropriate temperature and UVB gradient. This will allow your reptile to adjust the distance the heat and UVB lamps, in order to properly self regulate their temperature and UVB exposure.
