Zoo Med Eco Soil Pucks are the perfect size to use in small terrariums. Simply add some water and watch the puck expand up to 10x its original size.
Ideal to be used in habitats containing Spiders such as Tarantulas, Millipedes, Praying Mantis or most other insects.
Can be mixed with sand, or Repti Bark, Cypress Mulch or Turface to give more aeration and new textures to the substrate.
How to expand the Eco Soil Puck:
Place Eco Earth Soil Puck into a small pail or bucket. Add 1.5 cups of water. Allow the disc to absorb the water and fully expand for about 30 minutes. Wring out any excess water and add the moist soil to the habitat.
Mist periodically to maintain the desired humidity level for your invertebrate pets you are keeping. Spot clean as needed and replace every 6 months or if a fol odor is detected.
