These are great for catching small dart frogs and micro geckos. The young animals can not distinguish what the tube is, and can be coaxed into the tube. This is a super handy trick and far less stressful when trying to remove young animals from an already established vivarium or terrarium.
Some hobbyist are also using Test Tubes as a place to raise tadpoles of Ranitomeya and Dendrobates. These tubes do not have a flat bottom, so you will need to source out a tube holder to make this work out
