No live arrival guarantee on Animals, Plants, Insects, or Insect Cultures is offered. With the exception of animals shipped via Air Carriers (West Jet and Air Canada) with same day shipping and pick up. This service must be requested in advance and paid by the purchaser PRIOR to finalizing their order. We typically use Reptile Express or Reptile Runner for live animal shipments and Canada Post for plant and insect shipments. Other carriers may be used if a the client has recommendations, PRIOR to finalizing the order.
All orders with live goods that are shipped with Canada post will be marked “Hold for Pick up” unless otherwise requested by the purchaser prior to finalizing the purchase. This is done for the safety of the live goods, as it will minimize the time spent in a hot or cold truck, and prevents a package from being left in a community mail box or a door step, or delivered to an incorrect mail box and being exposed to the elements. Resulting in a catastrophic results.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the shipping address is correct. Jungle Jewel Exotics will not be held responsibility for packages delivered to an incorrect address as a result.
We really DO want everything to arrive alive and well, just as you do, and we will take all precautions within our capabilities to do so. Jungle Jewel Exotics reserves the right to delay any package due to severe weather (hot or cold) along the packages shipping route. Addition shipping charges to winterize or summer proof a package may be requested, shipments may be delayed as a result. Should something go wrong with your shipment please contact Jungle Jewel Exotics immediately so we can take immediate action.
Jungle Jewel Exotics reserves the right to replace an insect culture, plant or animals in part or in full at our discretion in the form of an in store/online store credit. This does not include any new shipping charges that be be incurred
Jungle Jewel Exotics attempts to provide detailed and accurate information though our website, emails and other communications. However Jungle Jewel Exotics and its employees cannot be held liable for any damages or losses though mishandling, misuse, inaccuracy or misinterpretation. Live guarantee is only available on amphibians or reptiles shipped via major airlines IF requested by the purchaser prior to finalizing your purchase. No live arrival guarantee of animals, plants, insect, or insect cultures is available through any other shipping service including but not limited to: Reptile Express, Reptile Runner, FedEx, UPS, Canada Post or any other shipping service used. Any grievances must be filed within 2 hours of the arrival time of the shipment. We will do our best to package the animals in the safest ways possible for travel. We ask that you do not open the box until you are home and it is safe to do so.
Animals that arrive dead or damaged via air transport and can be proved, the customer then qualifies for free replacement. We do not cover any new shipping fees incurred. If the customer dismisses free replacement, only a store credit will be offered or issued for the value of the lost animal. In some cases we reserve the right to request a necropsy performed by a certified veterinarian, we will not cover the costs associated with this procedure. All sales at trade shows, picked up or delivered by Jungle Jewel Exotics are considered final sale. No trades, returns or refunds are available. It is the responsibility of the customer during these transactions to ensure that they are satisfied with the quality and or apparent health of their purchase. No live arrival guarantee on plants, insect, or insect cultures is available.
We take great care in ensuring that all live animals are sold/shipped are outwardly healthy and thriving. (We want them to arrive safe as much as you do) By paying for your order, the purchaser accepts and understands that the transfer of live animals from our care to their care also represents a transfer of responsibility. Jungle Jewel Exotics makes no guarantee to the long term health of animals or their reproductive success, as husbandry variables that contribute to the long term success and well being of the animals is completely out of our control once they leave our care.
If you purchase an item that comes with a manufacture warranty and you require assistance, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the manufacture as set out in their Terms and Conditions. Please refer to their instructions or packaging when you receive the item. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to register for any warranties that require them to do so.
