Reptile Expos of Western Canada – Spring and Summer 2020

Unfortunately, due to Covid, all Reptile Shows in Canada have been canceled or postponed until 2021.

A lot of excitement is building around the Reptile Expo scene in Western Canada for the first half of 2020. With new expos opening up and established shows growing into new venues, there are a lot of great things happening in the reptile hobby. We have compiled a list of every Reptile Expo in Western Canada.

Vancouver Reptile Expo -Canceled

Unfortunately this event is canceled due to Covid-19

The first Reptile Expo of the spring 2020 show season is the Vancouver Reptile Expo on April 4-5 2020. The expo takes place in the East Delta Hall 10379 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC. This is their third reptile expo in Vancouver. Unfortunately we can’t make it out to this show, however we are happy to show our support to the reptile community in Vancouver.

Abbotsford Reptile Expo – Canceled

Unfortunately this event is canceled due to Covid-19

The second Reptile Show of the spring season is hosted by the BC Reptile Club. The reptile expo takes place in Abbotsford, BC on April 25-26 2020. The BCRC will host the expo at the Abbotsford Exhibition Park, 32470 Haida Dr Abbotsford, BC. We at Jungle Jewel Exotics are excited to be attending this expo for the first time and are happy to show our support for the BC Reptile Club. The BCRC is a BC recognized Non Profit Reptile Society entirely run by volunteers.

Edmonton Reptile Expo -Canceled

The third Reptile Expo of 2020 in Western Canada is hosted by The Edmonton Reptile and Amphibian Society. Happening on May 2-3 in a brand new and larger venue, located at the Alberta Aviation Museum 11410 Kingsway NW Edmonton, AB. Jungle Jewel Exotics is proud to return to the Edmonton reptile expo and show our support for The Edmonton Reptile and Amphibian Society. E.R.A.S. celebrates their 25^th year as one of two Alberta recognized Non Profit Reptile Societies.

Calgary Reptile Expo -Canceled

The Calgary Reptile Expo is hosted by The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society. T.A.R.A.S. has found a new, larger venue to host the largest gathering of reptile enthusiasts in Western Canada. The Calgary Reptile Expo takes place on May 23-24 2020 at the Absolute Baseball Academy, 2221 Crowchild Trail NW Calgary, AB (beside McMahon Stadium). Jungle Jewel Exotics is proud to return to the Calgary Reptile Expo and to continue to support The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society. T.A.R.A.S.  is the oldest recognized Non Profit Reptile Society in Canada, having been founded in 1984.

Medicine Hat Reptile Expo -Canceled

A brand new Reptile Expo opens their doors for the first time in Medicine Hat, AB on June 6-7. The Western Canadian Reptile Expo (WCRE) is hosting this event at the Higdon Hall – Exhibition Park 2055 21^st Ave Se Medicine Hat, AB. Jungle Jewel Exotics is excited to be among the first vendors to participate in this brand new reptile expo in southern Alberta.

Interior BC Reptile Expo – Kamloops Canceled

The Interior BC Reptile Expo returns to Kamloops, BC on June 6-7 2020. The show will take place in the Moccasin Square Gardens 315 Southern Yellowhead Hwy, Kamloops, British Columbia. You will find breeders and hobbyists from all over the Okanagan. Unfortunately we can’t However make it out to this expo, we are happy to show our support to the Reptile community in the BC interior.

Vancouver Island Reptile Show Canceled

The Vancouver Island Reptile Show (VIRS) happening on July 18-19 2020 in Victoria BC. Going into their 4th year, the VIRS has found a new, larger venue to host their reptile expo. The show will take place at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Center, 1767 Island Hwy, Victoria, BC. A Lot of great reptile and amphibian breeders will be at the VIRS this year! Unfortunately we can’t make it out to this show, however we are happy to show our support to the reptile community on Vancouver Island.

Western Canadian Reptile Expo (WCRE) – Red Deer -Canceled

Celebrating their 11th year, the Western Canadian Reptile Expo (WCRE) returns to Red Deer Alberta on August 22-23 2020. The WCRE takes place at the Cambridge (Sheraton) Hotel and Conference Centre,  3310 50th Ave, Red Deer, Alberta. This event will host the largest gathering of Reptile and Amphibian breeders and enthusiasts in all of Western Canada.
