Adding some Colombian Wax Pods to a naturalistic Terrarium or Vivarium is an excellent way to enhance the look and give it a natural twist!
These seed pods are from the Colombian wax weed (Cuphea carthagenensis) They are native to amazon rainforest ranging from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela and even the Galapagos Islands. However this weed has also become established in subtropical and tropical parts of Central America, North America, the Caribbean, Pacific Islands, and Asia.
Each pod is approximately 10-15 cm or 4-6″ long.
Due to the nature of this product there will be natural variation in size and color of each pod.
